A Typical Week at Wave Language School
What it's like to study Thai with an ED visa in Bangkok
Thinking about joining Wave Language School? Wondering what your week might look like? Here’s a simple guide to what a normal week is like for students studying Thai on an Education (ED) visa.
📍
Class Schedule
Most students study Thai 3 to 4 days a week. Each class is about 2 hours long. Classes are in the morning or afternoon, depending on your level. The lessons are small and friendly, with students from many countries.
📍
What You Learn
In class, you’ll learn speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You’ll practice everyday Thai—like how to order food, ask for directions, or talk with Thai friends. You’ll also learn Thai etiquette, like how to wai (a polite bow) and say thank you: ขอบคุณ (khawp-khun).
📍
Outside the Classroom
After class, many students explore Bangkok or study at home. Some meet classmates for coffee or practice Thai in real life. You don’t have homework every day, but reviewing helps a lot. Learning Thai helps with daily life, especially in shops, taxis, and local markets.
📍
Visa and School Support
Once a month, you check in with the school for paperwork or immigration updates. We help with the full visa process, including 90-day reports. Some schools don’t guide students at all—but we’re with you every step.
✅ Life at Wave is simple and stress-free. You study a few days a week, improve your Thai, and enjoy more of Thailand while staying legal on an ED visa.
